Zil Marwah is a Masjid, Manzil ~ a resting station of Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم, while he was going for Ghazwat Tabook. Seerat Ibn-e-Hisham mentions:

ومسجد بذي المروة
And a Masjid at Zil Marwah

It is a white pillar of QURATZ, miraculously pieced by Allah in a small sand hillock.
